Hi, my name is Lilly! I am the photographer/business owner behind Lilly Ruth Photography. I recently decided to turn my passion into my business and haven’t looked back. I aim to tell the raw story of your life by capturing the most important moments in your life.

Like most women, I wear many hats. I’m not only a photographer and business owner, but also a mom to my newborn babe, a wife, dog mom, and an advocate for body positivity. I graduated in 2020 with a bachelors in Business Operations & Project Management. As much as i love creating budgets and a good excel sheet, I have always dreamed of evoking emotion through my work and feel like I’ve found the perfect fit with photography.

A few random facts about me: I LOVE Target! I have been to over 50 Targets in the US, but please don't ask my husband how much i've spent over the years! Traveling gives me life. With Salem Massachusetts at the top of my list for obvious reasons, I love the beautiful landscapes, architecture, and interesting histories. I have a potty mouth and sometimes let it slip in the worst places. I like the smell of fertilizer, because it reminds me of summer as a child and I cannot stand the sound of cotton being pulled apart. I am super laid back, love a good laugh, and not much can elicit judgement from me (unless you don’t like Golden Girls. I mean, really?) 

How do you know I’m the right photographer for you? If you are open-minded, don’t take yourself too seriously, love snuggling with your family, and can take a little bit of inappropriateness for the sake of a good belly laugh, we might make a good match. I want to create images at which you’ll look back on and smile, or even cry. I consider it a gift to be entrusted with these moments.
